We provide personalized lessons for musicians of all ages, with flexibility in scheduling and experienced instructors to guide you towards your full potential.  Please register at the Teaching Studios located inside Shivelbines.  You may pre-register online to get started.

We currently offer lessons for piano, guitar, bass, drums, banjo, classical guitar and mandolin.

Procedures:
Students should check in at the teaching studio counter prior to their lesson to meet their instructor and be directed to the proper studio. 

 Once you have committed to an instructor:

  • Monthly Private Lessons are a minimum of $100 per month = four (30 minute) lessons.  Instructor rates may vary depending on availability and experience.
  • Payment is due prior to the 1st of the month.
  • Months with 5 weeks will be used as make-up lessons (if needed) or extra lessons with an additional fee.

Payment Options:  

  • During business hours we accept cash, checks, credit or debit cards.
  • Automatic payments are required by most instructors and will be withdrawn from your card prior to the 1st (last week of the month).  Please fill out our credit card authorization sheet when you complete full registration in the store.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Excused absences will be given a make-up lesson when 24 notice is given to the instructor (not Shivelbines) prior to the missed lesson.
  • Unexcused absences will not be made up.

Withdrawal from our program requires:

Written notice (email is fine) must be received within two weeks of the last lesson.  Please notify the main office and the instructor.

 A Registration Fee of $30 is due at the time of enrollment for each student to reserve your spot in the curriculum. After registration is received, we will put you in touch with a qualified instructor and help you decide which class is right for you. Once you fill out the form below, you’ll be directed to the payment page.  Please note that you will need to finish registration in the store.
