Gibson LG-2 Banner Headstock 1942

Up for sale is a super cool 1942 LG-2. Honestly, we are not sure of the exact year. Could be a 1943 with the tortoise pickguard. Bottom line, super cool war era Gibson. Guitar appears to have been completely rebuilt. See pics of inside. All original lacquer. No refinishing. We are not sure who did the work but, it is extremely obvious they knew what they were doing. Repairs are excellent! The tuners are not original and a K&K pickup system has been added. Guitar plays great. Extremely playable string height of 3/64th at the 1st fret, 10/64th at the 12th fret. The neck is nice and chunky! Plugged in, it sound wonderful! We are pricing this Banner headstock to sell. We’ve tried to take a bunch of pictures to show the instrument.
